I am a person who always tries to keep running for language learning and keep learning for language teaching. I have been learning English for 25 years and teaching English for 13 years. As English is not my first language, I always try to learn the second language, English every moment. From this  TESOL MA course, I had a lot of chance to build practical and theoretical knowledge and teach English based on a variety of teaching methodologies.

The reason why I enrolled this course was that I am always eager to learn more about how the language is learned and how to become a more competent teacher. From this course I could see myself develop not only the second language but also teaching skill as a learner and teacher.

Based on my experience from TESOL MA course, I have designed this Portfolio assembled as a way for me to reflect on what I have learned during five semesters and accomplish in the Sookmyung Women’s Universitiy TESOL MA Course and Practicum course. Especially, the practicum course had me find out a variety of theoretical and practical background of teaching with wonderful enriching experience under the mentorship of Professors,Stephen Van Vlack and Diane Rozells.

I am extremely grateful to all the professors and classmates for helping me to complete this course and making my professional experience at Sookmyung Women’s University enjoyable and meaningful.
